TotalEnergies Fluids, a global hydrocarbon solvents producer
TotalEnergies Fluids is highly involved in regulatory changes and future regulatory developments that may impact hydrocarbon solvent production and sale.
At EU level, TotalEnergies Fluids is an active member of different trade organizations such as the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC). TotalEnergies Fluids is involved in two CEFIC sector groups: the European Solvents Industry Group(ESIG), and the Hydrocarbon Solvents Producers Association (HSPA). ESIG works primarily to promote awareness of good practices in solvent use and to provide material (posters, videos, brochures, etc.) for responsible, sustainable use of solvents. HSPA brings together hydrocarbon solventproducers to advocate and promote responsible practices in solvent production and use.
In the framework of the European REACh Regulation, European producers and importers, including TotalEnergies Fluids, have formed the HydroCarbon Solvents Consortium (HCSC) to meet substances registration requirements.
